Structured Finance Position

The main goal of this role is to work closely with clients in the structured finance area, understanding their investment needs and providing tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard client's investment portfolio by reviewing legal agreements and interpreting servicer or trustees' reports.
  • Support clients in risk management and exposure monitoring of transactions.
  • Calculate and monitor key metrics such as covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests, and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • Assist/lead daily operations and ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Liaise with Business Analysts and Implementation teams to ensure data accuracy on proprietary platforms.
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve learning curves.
  • Provide surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical performance aspects proactively.
  • Assist in standardising processes to increase efficiencies and setting up SOPs around deliverables.

Required Skills:

  • Broad knowledge of Structured Finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, Middle Market Portfolio Financing.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel.
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Desired candidate must have an MBA or advanced degree in finance like CFA, CAIA, and FRM.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm preferably.
