Job Opportunity: SONiC Automation Test Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled SONiC Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in network testing and automation, with a strong understanding of SONiC architecture and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and validate SONiC builds for optimal performance.
  • Evaluate robust performance across routing, switching, and platform-level features to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in network testing and automation.
  • Strong expertise in SONiC fundamentals, including test architecture design and SONiC CLI/commands.
  • Hands-on experience with setting up SONiC servers and builds.
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
  • Experience troubleshooting ASIC/Syncd failures and Redis database anomalies.
  • Proficiency in PyTest automation for test development and execution.
  • Familiarity with PTF and practical experience using SpyTest for network validation.
  • Experience working with Data-Center Technologies such as IP-Clos/IP-Fabric, MC-LAGs.
  • Ability to debug blank box issues and platform-level anomalies effectively.
