Job Description

The role of a Senior Associate Corporate Finance professional involves working on various corporate finance projects, including M&A transactions and financing/fundraising activities. This individual will be responsible for executing sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, as well as assisting with targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of M&A projects, including financial modeling, due diligence, and deal execution

• Assisting project leads in daily execution of all aspects of M&A projects

• Creation of pitch documents, pricing/valuation papers, marketing materials, management presentations, and transaction structuring

• Advising clients on commercial negotiation and supporting transaction structuring

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and fluency in English and German (with a mandatory German language qualification). The ideal candidate will have an MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree, along with 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A/investment banking, transaction advisory, or consulting services.

Technical Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)

• Proficiency in using research databases such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, Pitchbook, Fame, Orbis, etc.
