Job Title: Risk Management ProfessionalResponsibilities and Expectations:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to lead our internal audit team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a high level of integrity.

  • Internal Audit Management: Coordinate audits, prepare checklists, and issue relevant reports.
  • Reporting and Escalation: Review audit reports and escalate any significant findings or non-compliance issues for disciplinary action.
  • Documentation and Communication: Draft meeting agendas, minutes, and action letters to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Member Support: Coordinate penalty debits and respond to member inquiries in a timely manner.
Data Analysis and Insights:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to inform business decisions. This includes generating reports using analytics tools and identifying areas of high risk or financial stress.

  • Data Collection: Gather and analyze data to evaluate member performance.
  • Reporting and Flagging: Generate reports highlighting high-risk or financially stressed members, flagging these cases for further attention.
Limited Purpose Inspections (LPIs):

The selected individual will scope and monitor LPIs based on risk triggers. They will also review regional office reports and share findings with regulatory bodies when necessary.

  • LPI Coordination: Scope and monitor LPIs to identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance.
  • Report Review and Sharing: Review regional office reports and share findings with regulatory bodies as required.
IT Coordination and Support:

The successful candidate will liaise with the IT department for system enhancements and UAT testing. They will also ensure accurate release of updates in the live environment and coordinate BCP activities across regional offices.

  • System Enhancements: Collaborate with the IT department to enhance systems and ensure smooth operation.
  • UAT Testing: Participate in UAT testing to ensure new systems meet business requirements.
  • BCP Activities: Coordinate BCP activities to ensure continuity of operations during disruptions.
Regulatory Compliance and Process Improvement:

The selected individual will drive process improvements and submit updates to the Business Excellence team. They will also respond to regulatory and member compliance queries and maintain relevant records.

  • Process Improvements: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and respond to member compliance queries.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of regulatory compliance and member interactions.
