We are seeking a skilled Mobile Engineer to join our team and help us develop a mobile application for efficient livestock management.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native, proficiency in the Typescript ecosystem, including monorepos, and a thorough understanding of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the product team and farming partners to understand their work and build an app that meets their requirements.
  • Maintaining high engineering and coding standards.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience with React Native and Typescript.
  • Knowledge of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps.
  • Ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with mapping libraries in React Native or Native frameworks.
  • Understanding of the native iOS and Android ecosystems.
  • A good knowledge of UX best practices for SaaS based interfaces & AI.

Your first six months will be focused on building a mobile app that allows farmers to see their farm map with multiple layers and annotations, create virtual polygons to plot the region for their farms on the map, annotate the polygons with points of interest, generate heat maps of the farm livestock activity, and integrate with APIs to let farmers view their livestock on the map.
