Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud network infrastructure using AWS/Azure.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with provisioning and managing network systems such as Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, and other NVAs.
  • A strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VPNs, VPC/VNETs, NSGs, and protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, BGP, EIGRP is required.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation is also essential.
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes and tools like ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Capable of setting up alerts, diagnosing network issues, and using tools like Wireshark and firewall logs for analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of networking experience and hands-on work with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Degree level education in IT, science, maths or engineering areas is preferred.
  • Network certification with Palo Alto such as PCNSA is required.
  • AWS CCP or Azure Foundation certification at a minimum is also necessary.

Bonus Experience:

  • DDoS solutions (Cloudflare, Akamai), CLI tools for network appliances are desired.
  • Prior work in Life Sciences or other regulated industries is a bonus.
