Role Overview

This position requires a professional to conduct complex research and background investigations on transactions, individuals, entities, organizations or locations to identify and mitigate associated sanctions, financial crime, and reputational risks. The selected candidate will support the Due Diligence group in improving client onboarding processes, conducting periodic reviews, and ensuring quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and/or background investigations on individuals, entities, organizations, or locations to identify and mitigate associated sanctions, credit, financial crime, and reputational risks.">
  • Review and analyze due diligence data from various sources to determine overall risk.">
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines set forth in federal/state anti-money laundering laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and various sanctions regulations.">
  • Consult with peers, line of business managers, and other external parties regarding due diligence findings.">

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.">
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption, or equivalent experience.">
  • Experience in screening customers, prospects, and/or transactions against regulatory reporting lists and regionally based sanctions watch lists.">
