Key Position: Strategic Sourcing Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable strategic sourcing trainer with over 10 years of expertise in developing and delivering training programs to procurement teams, ensuring best practices, compliance, and continuous improvement in procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery:
  • Conduct engaging training sessions on procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Provide hands-on training in contract negotiation strategies, supplier risk assessment, and cost optimization techniques.
  • Curriculum Development:
  • Design and update training materials, case studies, and practical simulations tailored to the medical devices, automotive, and electrical industries.
  • Develop e-learning modules for procurement processes, supplier scorecards, and sourcing workflows.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify gaps in procurement processes and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management – experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers.
  • Vendor Management & Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) – including supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and development programs.
  • Contract Negotiation & Risk Management – strong knowledge of commercial terms, SLAs, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cost Reduction & Value Engineering – proven track record in cost-saving initiatives and process optimization.
  • Supply Planning & Inventory Management – ability to integrate procurement planning with production demand.
  • ERP Systems Expertise – SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement modules.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or Business Administration with 10+ years of experience.
  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, and CIPS are preferred.
