Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analysis Leader to join our Data & Analytics team. This role involves being the primary liaison between assigned business functions and the Data & Analytics team, understanding business objectives and translating them into actionable data requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main point of contact between assigned business functions and the Data & Analytics team.
  • Understand business goals and translate them into measurable data requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage incoming requests from business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of analytics deliverables.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end development of Power BI dashboards, from requirement gathering to deployment and training.
  • Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of analytics outputs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Power BI dashboard design, usability, and performance.
  • Mentorship and Supervision:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Data Analysts; assign work, review outputs, and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reporting requirements by managing team workload and capacity.
  • Promote best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with other Analytics Leads and the Head of Data & Analytics for cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in a team or project lead capacity.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development (including DAX, data modelling, performance tuning).
  • Proficient in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, ETL concepts, and business process mapping.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and coach team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization concepts.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
  • Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems.
  • Power BI certifications.
  • Hands-on experience of creating Power Automate workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, or data security practices.
