Cyber Security Specialist

This is a challenging full-time role requiring an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard our organization's digital infrastructure.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Safeguarding digital infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities by monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to potential security breaches.
- • Implementing robust security controls and best practices to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
- • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on security initiatives and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and threat detection methodologies.
- • Hands-on experience working with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- • Proficiency in common security tools: EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze logs from firewalls, antivirus, email security, and threat intelligence sources.
- • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP protocols, and network infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- • Industry certifications like Security+, CEH, or similar.
