Job Title: Junior Cyber Security Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Cyber Security Specialist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and maintaining frameworks for product classification and automated security requirements mapping, as well as conducting Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and security assessments for various products.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the development of our security strategy and play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our products.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and Maintenance:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining frameworks for product classification and automated security requirements mapping. This will involve developing and implementing secure coding practices, conducting regular security audits, and identifying areas for improvement.

Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment:

The Junior Cyber Security Specialist will also be responsible for conducting Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and security assessments for Festo products. This will involve analyzing potential threats and vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.

Support and Collaboration:

The successful candidate will work closely with product teams to automate the generation of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), develop and execute test specifications, test cases, and test plans for vulnerability testing of Festo products, conduct penetration testing and basic vulnerability assessment, support documentation of test results, and collaborate with development teams.

DevSecOps Practices:

The Junior Cyber Security Specialist will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining DevSecOps practices within CI/CD environments and developing automation infrastructure. This will involve working with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain product security measures, supporting the provision of tools and documentation in the context of SAMM (Software Assurance Maturity Model), and collaborating with product compliance and development teams.

Security Incident Response:

The successful candidate will also support investigation and mitigation of product-related security incidents (PSIRT). This will involve working with internal stakeholders to identify and address security issues, coordinating incident response efforts, and documenting lessons learned.
