About our Policy Research Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join our team and contribute to our policy research initiatives.

As a Senior Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with state government institutions to support policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design. Your expertise in econometrics and data analysis will be crucial in providing research-backed policy inputs to inform Madhya Pradesh's development agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyse large datasets and apply econometric techniques for policy insights.
  • Draft policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders.
  • Support project design, proposal development, research project management, and internal capability building.
  • Work with other researchers to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Master's, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage research projects independently.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Adherence to research timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
