Job Overview

A Senior Test Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring software products meet regulatory and functional requirements. Their responsibility encompasses performing manual and/or automated testing to guarantee quality releases while maintaining regulatory compliance.

This position involves designing and reviewing test cases, executing test plans, and documenting results. A Senior Test Engineer leads test efforts, implements automation frameworks, and collaborates with developers, stakeholders, and regulatory teams to understand requirements and ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in software testing and possess expertise in testing management tools like Jira, HP/OpenText ALM, IBM Rational, XRay, Zephyr, etc. Additionally, they should have an understanding of Agile/iterative software development methodologies and Testing in Agile.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute manual and/or automated test cases for software applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing.
  • Validate compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Test-driven development experience.
  • Proficiency in software development and/or software testing.
  • Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV) or Computer Software Assurance (CSA).
Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in automation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
