Private Investment Analyst Role

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Private Investment Analyst to join our team and drive deal origination, relationship building, and early diligence for private companies. This is a unique chance to strengthen our investment pipeline by identifying promising businesses across sectors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing – Identify private companies through databases, industry research, and networks.
  • Market Mapping – Build sector landscapes to spot high-potential businesses across growth and late-stage segments.
  • Founder Outreach – Engage with promoters, founders, and advisors to explore potential investment opportunities.
  • Preliminary Assessment – Analyze financials, governance, and compliance of shortlisted companies.
  • Investment Notes – Prepare screening reports, teasers, and pipeline dashboards for the investment committee.
  • Relationship Development – Build connections with bankers, intermediaries, and ecosystem players to generate proprietary deal flow.
  • Tracking Trends – Monitor regulatory updates for potential listings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills to engage founders and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and initiative in sourcing opportunities.
