Job Overview

This senior management role is accountable for the seamless operation of all academic, administrative, and enterprise IT applications across the campus. Key responsibilities include managing the lifecycle of these applications, ensuring high availability and reliability, and driving efficiency and innovation in technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end application deployment, configuration, upgrades, integration, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of academic and administrative applications.
  • Resolve issues and analyze root causes of application-related problems.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with academic leaders and administrative heads to deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Act as liaison with application vendors and service providers.
  • Lead user adoption initiatives including training and support.

Strategic Planning & Governance:

  • Define and execute an application roadmap aligned with digital transformation goals.
  • Establish governance standards and compliance with IT policies.
  • Recommend innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Lead and mentor the application support team.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Integration & Data Management:

  • Drive seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Around 15 years of experience in IT application management, preferably in higher education or large enterprises.
  • Expertise in managing enterprise applications, application integration, and vendor management.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
