Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Project Portfolio Manager to lead our customer projects in the electrical switchgear industry.

About the Role

  • Organize and plan multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Drive customer relationships through proactive communication, executive summaries, emails, calls, and meetings.
  • Manage FAT events and achieve high NPS scores.
  • Establish key relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Execute customer projects in compliance with our customer project process, ensuring project performance, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Review technical specifications and make informed decisions on technical comments from customers.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and other departments within the organization.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Engineering, and Project Buyer teams to execute projects successfully.
  • Attend monthly review meetings to discuss project progress and take necessary actions.
  • Ensure full and effective reporting of project progress and status to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in customer projects within the electrical switchgear industry (Engineer To Order).
  • Understanding of Data Center segments, business functions, and processes, as well as export projects, export controls, commercial, and tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of MV (AIS/GIS/RMU) equipment, relays, substation automation, and SCADA.
  • Relevant services business experience, customer handling skills, negotiation skills, communication skills, leadership skills, and result-oriented mindset.

Education and Certifications

  • B.E Electrical Engineering, Post Graduation will be an advantage.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP-PMI) will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Good digital and soft skills acumen.
  • Technical knowledge of Power Systems/Electrical Distribution.
  • Good solution-based approach and agile mindset.
