Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in advancing diversity, accessibility, equity, and inclusion through onboarding, growth, engagement, retention, and inclusion practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional support to new hires, introducing them to company culture and policies during onboarding.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including asset and access-related tasks.
  • Verify background information for all new hires in partnership with vendors.
  • Establish regular communication with new and existing employees to ensure high happiness and productivity.
  • Collaborate with leaders to resolve people-related conflicts or concerns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for team members regarding policies and culture.
  • Plan and execute engaging activities to maintain team morale.
  • Develop and manage internal communications, including email templates, policies, and announcements.
  • Partner with leaders to draft policies and update the company handbook.
  • Strategize programs to minimize attrition and maximize employee retention.
  • Conduct exit interviews and oversee off-boarding procedures.
  • Prepare necessary documents and correspondence.
  • Coordinate logistics for team events.
  • Negotiate vendor partnerships and manage contracts.
  • Process salary changes and payroll with the Finance team.
  • Review paperwork and contracts as required.
About You:
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Human Resources degree or related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with maturity.
  • High energy levels and ability to run engagement activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in Business Operations and related roles.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and employee relations case management.
  • Data analysis and recommendation skills.
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in numbers, MS Office, and related tools.
  • Experience working with remote teams over 250 people.
