As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will join our Application Health and Monitoring team in a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with engineers and developers across various layers of applications and infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • We require a professional to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • The ideal candidate must implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
  • You will be responsible for performing log analysis and implementing monitoring tools to ensure application health.
  • Administering Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning is also crucial.
  • In addition, you will lead incident response efforts and implement preventive actions to reduce Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR).
Key Skills & Expertise
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku) is essential.
  • Expertise in monitoring tools and log analysis (AWS CloudWatch, DataDog, Logtail) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes, is also required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are vital.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certifications in AWS or other cloud platforms would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements is beneficial.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines would be ideal.
