Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for creating and executing automated test scripts to validate the acceptance criteria defined within epics and user stories. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development testing, with experience in API/UI/mobile automation and technical expertise in Java 17+. They will be able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team environment.

About the Role:
The Test Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to decompose functional and nonfunctional requirements into test scripts and scenarios. They will determine test dependencies, including the QE test environment, tools, training, build and deploy plans, infra-team dependency, and communication process. Additionally, they will create and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate acceptance criteria and identify risks impacting timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, meet deadlines, and operate under tight time constraints
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Articulate and effective oral presentations to different audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bachelors Of Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience

Technical Competencies:
• 5+ Years demonstrable experience as a Software Development Test Engineer in API/UI/mobile automation
• Experience in testing with XML and web-based SOAP/RESTful services
• Technical expertise in Java 17+
• Experience in SQL
• Ability to work both independently and within a close team environment
• Experience with backend testing and writing SQL queries
• Knowledge of Cross-browser testing using Selenium Grid, Browser Stack, Sauce Labs etc.
• Software delivery leveraging agile practices at scale
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Domain
• Experience with building CI/CD and DevOps solutions
