Lead UX Designer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to drive the user experience strategy and design execution for our digital products.

In this role, you will lead user-centered design efforts, mentor junior designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences across platforms.

  1. Key Responsibilities :
  2. Define and champion the UX vision aligned with business and user goals.
  3. Lead the end-to-end UX design process from research and ideation to final design.
  4. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to influence product strategy through the lens of design.
  5. Ensure a consistent and scalable design system across all platforms and touchpoints.
  6. Advocate for user-centered design practices and promote a design-first culture within the organization.
  7. Translate user needs and business requirements into elegant, intuitive, and innovative user interfaces.
  8. Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  9. Conduct and synthesize UX research (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations).
  10. Present design concepts and clearly articulate design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  11. Collaborate with UI/Visual designers to ensure final products meet brand and usability standards.
  12. Mentor and guide junior UX/UI designers, fostering skill development and creative excellence.
  13. Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and skill-building sessions.
  14. Foster cross-functional collaboration with engineering, QA, marketing, and content teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in UX design for web and mobile products
  • Proven ability to lead UX efforts across multiple projects or products
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards
  • Experience in conducting and synthesizing user research and usability testing
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX case studies with measurable impact
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle
  • Bachelors or Masters in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field
