Advanced Data Scientist RoleThis role is part of a cutting-edge AI project, where you will work as an AI Engineer on new product concepts and ideas. You will collaborate with global teams to develop innovative products and design solutions.You will demonstrate technical leadership in deploying AI solutions and have end-to-end ownership of projects from concept definition through to hardware deployment. You will also be involved in customer interaction, solution mapping, and influencing decisions for concept-to-product migration.Job Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership:
  • Deploy AI solutions with full ownership, from concept definition to deployment on hardware.
  • Collaborate actively with stakeholders for new technologies and ideas incubation.
  1. Research & Development:
  • Self-motivated in Intellectual Property (IP) creation for the product in your area of expertise.
  • Research, prototype, and develop new solutions, while mapping the right solutions to customer needs.
  1. Prototyping and Deployment:
  • Work on the prototyping and deployment of new AI solutions.
  • Lead and work with the team to solve complex technical problems related to defect detection, inspections, and camera calibration, data fusion, and target tracking.
  1. Project Coordination:
  • Coordinate with system engineers and project managers on product customization and project execution.
  • Influence decisions and guide the project through concept to product migration.
  1. Customer Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal and external customers to understand their objectives.
  • Present new ideas and prototypes, and offer solutions that align with customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science.
  • Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in designing and developing AI-based solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in software development processes, especially working on Linux/Unix-based systems.
  • Expertise in Machine Learning/AI Life Cycle with a strong command of Python and C++ for hardware deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning algorithm development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming is advantageous.
  • Key Skills:
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, particularly for target tracking and perception using camera, lidar, and radar sensors.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for defect detection, inspections, and sensor calibration.
  • Ability to formulate and prototype new solutions, contributing to the development of innovative products.
