We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Optimizer to lead our team in the Indian power sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement optimization models using GAMS for Power Portfolio Optimization.
    • Create machine learning models for demand and price forecasting, anomaly detection, and portfolio management.
    • Utilize Python, R, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and other libraries for robust model development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
  • Manage and optimize large-scale databases using SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Develop financial models using Python, R, and Advanced Excel for energy portfolio assessment and risk management.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory impacts, and economic factors influencing the Indian power sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B. Tech / Master's in Electrical, Energy Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
  • Relevant experience in backend development, data science, machine learning, and database management.
  • Proficiency in GAMS, Python, R, and advanced visualization tools.
  • Understanding of energy markets and portfolio management.
