Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise SaaS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in optimization using GAMS, machine learning algorithm development, financial modeling, and energy portfolio management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing optimization models for power portfolio management, utilizing GAMS and Python libraries. They will also work on developing and optimizing machine learning models for demand and price forecasting, anomaly detection, and other applications.

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Optimization Models for Power Portfolio Management
  • Developing and Optimizing Machine Learning Models for Demand and Price Forecasting
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams to Integrate Machine Learning Models into Production Environment
  • Managing and Optimizing Large-Scale Databases using SQL and NoSQL
  • Building and Maintaining Financial Models using Python, R, and Advanced Excel

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for analyzing market trends, regulatory impacts, and economic factors influencing the Indian power sector using statistical techniques. They will also be required to develop insightful and interactive visualizations using Python, Advanced Excel, Tableau, and Power BI to support decision-making and stakeholder communication.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Energy Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields like Statistics, Mathematics, Economics
  • At least 5 years of experience in power sector optimization and forecasting models
  • Proficiency in GAMS, Python, R, and advanced visualization tools (Power BI and Advance Excel)
  • Strong understanding of energy markets and portfolio management

The role might require the applicant to undertake travel for pursuing various opportunities. However, the base location shall be New Delhi.
