As a senior market analyst, you will be responsible for reporting on global ferroalloys and bulk ores markets with a focus on India.

This role involves working closely with industry-leading journalists and price reporters to provide accurate data and real-time news to customers buying and selling energy commodities worldwide.

The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in steel or steel raw materials industries/markets and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

A bachelor's degree in business or engineering is advantageous, but not essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience covering ferroalloys, bulk ores, or related markets as a journalist, analyst, or price reporter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report ferroalloys and bulk ore prices weekly, focusing on India.
  • Help launch new price assessments, define specifications, and gather market feedback.
  • Generate news content on ferroalloys and bulk ores, collaborating with reporters in Africa and Europe.
  • Produce periodic pieces on topical industry issues, such as regulatory developments or geopolitical concerns.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, leveraging these connections for business development.
  • Promote the company through public engagements, industry presentations, media interviews, and content marketing.

  • Ability to present and lead discussions, moderate panels at conferences.
