Job Title: Database Developer
We are seeking a talented individual to design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions that support enterprise-level applications and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Design and maintain relational databases, ensuring data consistency, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and data engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
  • Perform database performance tuning and query optimization using indexing, execution plans, and refactoring techniques.
  • Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and suggest enhancements.
  • Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and system workflows.
  • Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews and peer programming as needed.
  • Provide production support for database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Technical Skills Required:
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL / PL/SQL with experience in writing complex queries, joins, and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting.
  • Understanding of data normalization, data modeling, and database architecture principles.
  • Experience with SQL Profiler, Execution Plans, and other performance monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD processes for database deployments.
  • Knowledge of BI/reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL is a plus.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in SQL/database technologies are a plus.
