Production Manager


Job Description:

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning and preparing manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation. You will expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, including estimating.

You will analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources. Additionally, you will prepare production reports, develop processes and methods for manufacturing procedures, and coordinate and follow up workflow in manufacturing processes.

You will also analyze and monitor costs in relation to manufacturing to ensure delivery and budget fulfillment. Your responsibilities will include working in a team to achieve company goals, adhering to statutory company policies, monitoring and controlling TIP levels to achieve targeted relevant KRP of TRP, and monitoring daily production trends with reasons and taking remedial action for decline to ensure efficient operation of the section.

Further responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining 5S, TPM, CI, and KAIZEN-related activities in the department, daily discussing production plans and other sectional matters with seniors, monitoring and controlling consumable stock and its maintenance, having continuous dialogue and training with shop floor employees as needed, motivating and guiding employees through innovative ways for their different activities, developing strong team spirit to achieve organizational objectives, and acting as a leader for a group of people by setting examples as a role model when required.

Finally, you will continuously update and improve different operations and methodologies for optimization of cycle time, power utilization, labor fatigue, tool life, discussing cross-functional issues in daily meetings on a whiteboard for safety, maintenance, and customer-related disciplines in the section, communicating and promoting the EHS Policy and Safety Principles, and working according to Safety Principles towards the vision of zero harm.
