**Reports to**: Area Leader / Production Supervisor

**Position Summary**:
Responsible for operating and monitoring the forming machines used to shape processed potatoes into various products (e.g., patties, smileys). Ensures that production output meets quality, hygiene, and safety standards, with mínimal downtime and waste.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:Operating of Forming Section**:

- Operate and monitor forming machines according to standard process requirements.
- Set up equipment (temperature, speed, retention time) as per product specifications.
- Monitor and record product shape, size, and uniformity.
- Record yield loss, texture, and machine efficiency in online tools like TSU Live/SPC.

**Quality & Efficiency Monitoring**:

- Ensure all process alarms are functioning and parameters are within control limits.
- Adjust machine settings based on quality feedback and performance trends.
- Communicate deviations to the supervisor and coordinate with QA.

**Neatness of Workplace**:

- Ensure forming area, walkways, and equipment are clean during and after production.
- Support routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and housekeeping practices.

**Maintenance & General Duties**:

- Assist engineers during minor repairs and machine changeovers.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
- Replace consumables (dies, molds) as needed.

**Safety**:

- Follow PPE protocols (gloves, masks, safety shoes).
- Maintain dry floors and ensure machines are guarded properly.
- Report hazards or unusual conditions immediately.

**Requirements**:

- **Academic**: ITI / Diploma OR minimum 2 years’ experience in food/processing industry.
- **Experience**: 2-3 years in machine operating in a food production environment.
- **Skills**: Basic mechanical aptitude, GMP knowledge, ability to follow SOPs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
