Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures and solutions to meet business needs.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and implement secure network architectures and solutions
  • To assess business critical technologies for security vulnerabilities and improvements
  • To provide best practice remediation recommendations to address flaws identified
  • To produce Network Security designs to meet business needs and follow current standards
  • To support Network Security standards to ensure they continue to meet best practice guidelines
  • To keep up to date on Security trends and developments and identify how they could benefit the company
  • To analyse Security products and technologies and make recommendations to influence technical direction
  • To lead on multiple medium and large complex projects and support in the implementation

Requirements:

  • Good experience of network technologies in a global business
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication, both verbal and written, skills
  • English at a near-native level
  • Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of Security concepts
  • A passion for Security and staying abreast of new developments
  • Experience of taking a requirement through analysis, solution design, testing, deployment and hand-over to an operations team for BAU support
  • Minimum 10 years' experience of information security in a global and similar size business
  • Detailed hands-on experience of design, configuration and implementing solution with Checkpoint Firewalls
