Job Title: Senior Electronics and Communication Engineer

Key Highlights:

  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in electronics and communication engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics and Communication.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee project development from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer requirements.
  2. Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and specifications, defining digital signal processing systems and board architecture accordingly.
  3. Partition algorithms for implementation in Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) and/or software, identifying building blocks and signal processing functions.
  4. Estimate FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth for effective project planning.
  5. Prepare detailed module-level documentation, including coding, simulation, and peer review, applying methodologies for design, verification, and validation.
  6. Manage project-related documentation, focusing on design documents with thorough analysis reports.
  7. Provide support during integration phases at test sites and assist production teams as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in VHDL and Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation.
  • In-depth understanding of Xilinx FPGAs.
  • Functional simulation capabilities.
  • Strong background in hardware design, including logic design and debugging.
  • Expertise in VHDL/Verilog RTL coding, System C/System Verilog.
  • Experience with FPGA synthesis and PAR tools.
  • Able to implement DSP algorithms in FPGA environments for Radar and Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Modeling algorithms in Octave/MATLAB, generating test vectors, and visualizing data.
  • Working knowledge of interfacing with Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) and Digital-to-Analog Convertors (DACs), interpreting their performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and configuration/version control skills using SVN.
