Job Title: Database Management Professional

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled database management professional to ensure the smooth operation of our database infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, and management of database servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure database servers on various platforms including Unix and Windows
  • Apply security patches and other upgrades to maintain optimal performance and security
  • Manage database objects such as user accounts, tables, indexes, roles, privileges, and profiles
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of databases
  • Restore and recover databases in case of failures or corruption
  • Implement high availability solutions such as AlwaysOn, replication, log shipping, mirroring, and clustering

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2012 and 2016
  • Strong understanding of database design, development, and administration
  • Experience with performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability solutions
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
