About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career as a Cost Management professional. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Cost Manager.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for construction projects. They will also support in analyzing project costs, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client requirements.

In this role, you will conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications. You will collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to evaluate contractor claims, variations, and valuations.

You will also ensure proper documentation is in place, especially with respect to Drawing Register Maintenance. Additionally, you will have an insatiable hunger to learn and understand existent practices to enhance skills quickly.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and BOQs for construction projects.
  • Analyze project costs, budgets, and schedules to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and inspections to verify progress and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to evaluate contractor claims, variations, and valuations.
  • Ensure proper documentation is in place, especially with respect to Drawing Register Maintenance.
Requirements:
  • B.E/B.Tech- Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical degree.
  • 0-1 year of work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and drawing plans.
