Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned software tester to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality automated tests in core technologies and creating comprehensive test documentation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing automated tests using Cypress.io or Playwright
  • Creating detailed test plans and reports
  • Identifying risks and defining test scope
  • Improving QA processes and providing support to team members
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 6 years of commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation
  • Expertise in at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques and strong manual testing experience
  • Knowledge of good testing practices and the ability to apply them practically
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior testers
  • Hands-on experience with databases or advanced Excel
  • Experience working with large datasets or customer bases
  • Root cause analysis and test reporting skills
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services, and test design
  • Programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and test planning and QA strategy
  • Optional: Knowledge of Python, Java
