Job Title: Senior Automation Tester

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with expertise in automation testing using Selenium to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests to verify software quality.
  • Convert manual test cases into automated scripts, maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks, and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development and other teams to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Create testing artifacts, configure test environments, write automation scripts, prepare test summary reports, etc. as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Good hands-on experience with the automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, Perfecto, GenRocket, etc.
  • Hands-on in Java/Spring boot and experience with SQL/any DB.
  • Demonstrated experience in in-sprint and integration testing within Agile or distributed environments.
  • Understanding of test script versioning, CI/CD integration, and defect management.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with customer SMEs from Business & IT, onsite and offshore teams.
  • Actively involved in application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan working hours.
