Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Accountant. This role will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, processing payments and reconciliations, and ensuring timely delivery of AP reports to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors for payment, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Update the supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Work with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals.
  • Prepare weekly AP reports and process vendor payments and allocations in books.
  • Review vendor reconciliations performed by AA.
  • Chase W9 from vendors and prepare 1099 workings.
  • Reconcile tax returns.
  • Review sales entries (weekly).
  • Review sales tax and prompt tax working file and prepare use tax calculation.
  • Prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Respond to emails within 48 hours.
  • Deliver AP reports to clients on time.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials) on time.
  • Train new team members and help them settle.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and systems.
  • Be open to learning new processes and working on new roles assigned.
  • Attend all internal training/development sessions for personal/business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
