Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django.
  • Build and deploy microservices from scratch, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Determine and implement the right storage solutions (SQL vs. NoSQL) depending on use case.
  • Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools.
  • Work with asynchronous programming and understand Python's internals, including the GIL.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed.
  • Evaluate and ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper documentation.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.
  • Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  • Deep understanding of database design, including when to use relational vs. non-relational DBs.
  • Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Williness to occasionally contribute to frontend development.
  • Proficiency in AI code helpers and willingness to learn RAG and AI Agentic Solutions.
