Job Description

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in the configuration, implementation, and monitoring of platform components, including networking, virtual machines, API management services, application gateways, load balancers, Kubernetes clusters, and more. You will work with Terraform to write code that bridges the gap between application and infrastructure, ensuring seamless performance and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, specifically Azure, and a strong understanding of Kubernetes, IAC code (Terraform or Pulumi), Python, and Golang. Additionally, they should be familiar with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Configuring and implementing platform components
  • Writing code to bridge the gap between application and infrastructure
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting platform performance
  • Collaborating with DevOps Engineers and Application Engineers
  • Mentoring and training team members
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Environments
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and hands-on experience
  • Experience with IAC code (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Proficiency in Python or Golang
  • Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud marketplace services and technologies
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols
  • Technical expertise with Microsoft Azure
  • Deployment and administration of Cloud monitoring services and tools
  • Broad experience in developing cloud migration and automation solutions in Azure
  • Experience working with GITLAB or similar tools
  • Knowledge and familiarity with adjacent technology areas
