Software Development Engineer in Test

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. This freelancer opportunity is for a major Banking organization.

The successful candidate will have experience of 5+ years and work under minimal supervision to test ITSFI applications. They will collaborate closely with business users, application build IT teams, and other IT teams within the project and without to meet WBG internal standards and guidelines.

  • Must have working experience on web automation tools like Selenium with Java/C#, and Playwright.
  • Working experience on native Windows applications automation is required.
  • Knowledge of designing automation framework is essential.
  • Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps expertise is necessary.
  • Knowledge in Jmeter, SonarQube is an added advantage.

  • Good understanding of technology environment, such as Azure, Azure SQL, MSSQL.
  • Experience in automating native applications (e.g. SAP) testing using TOSCA automation tool is a huge plus.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preferably certified by ISTQB.
  • Strong process analysis skills and ability to suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness of solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills. Positive attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

  • Excellent personal organization and ability to take things to closure without follow-ups.

This role requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to succeed in this freelance opportunity.
