Senior LogicMonitor Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned monitoring engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable monitoring solutions across hybrid environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with platform and operations teams to ensure system reliability and intelligence-driven alerting.

  • Develop custom integrations and automations using LogicMonitor's REST APIs.
  • Architect monitoring workflows that support multi-cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Build and maintain LogicModules, dashboards, escalation chains, and reporting logic.
  • Automate monitoring deployments and policy configurations across client environments.
  • Provide guidance and standards for observability integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in monitoring engineering, with 3+ years focused on LogicMonitor.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and JSON/XML-based API design.
  • Proven success in automating large-scale monitoring environments.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud observability and integrations with ITSM/CMDB tools.
  • Strong understanding of platform engineering and service reliability practices.

  • To build scalable and reliable monitoring solutions.
  • To develop expertise in LogicMonitor's REST APIs and Python scripts.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to mentor junior team members, and provide expert-level advice on observability and monitoring best practices.
