**Job Title:** Senior Software Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Design Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the development of software systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of software systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to define and implement software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and release notes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them grow in their careers.

**Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software design and development, with a focus on system-level design.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and software engineering principles.
  • Experience with Linux, C/C++, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

**Nice to Have:

The following qualifications would be beneficial for this role:

  • Experience with audio domain, specifically DSP firmware development.
  • Knowledge of ALSA ASoC framework, I2S/TDM protocols, and audio transmission.
  • Understanding of multi-core DSP architecture and inter-processor communication.
  • Familiarity with audio post-processing frameworks like Audio Weaver Engine or Xtensa Audio Framework.
