Job Title : Senior Software Engineer

From Office. Client : Nest Digital. Note : Should have strong QT experience. Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain Qt-based frontend and backend applications for healthcare equipment.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop and optimize software for embedded Linux platforms.
  • Implement and execute unit tests using QTest, QuickTest, and Google Test frameworks.
  • Identify and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage code repositories using Git, ensuring proper version control and collaboration.
  • Utilize static analysis tools like Coverity and SonarQube to ensure high code quality and identify potential issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user manuals.
  • Analyze and optimize application performance for responsiveness and efficiency.

Skills Requirements :

  • 6 to 8 years of strong C software development experience, including designing, programming, debugging, and testing.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of recent and relevant experience in application development using Qt & QML technologies.
  • Experience with QTest, QuickTest unit testing, and Google Test.
  • Experience with software development on Linux embedded platforms.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Experience with tools to deliver high-quality code
  • Coverity/SonarQube, etc.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

  • Experience with healthcare domain software development.
  • Knowledge of medical device software standards and regulations.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in network programming.

Education :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
