We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Chief Academic Officer. In this role, you will oversee the academic initiatives of our institution while contributing to teaching and research.

The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, industry experience, and a passion for developing future banking and management professionals.

As a Chief Academic Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Academic Administration:
    • Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement in line with AICTE guidelines and industry trends.
    • Ensure effective delivery of academic programs through faculty mentoring and training.
    • Monitor student performance and provide strategic interventions to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies and technology-driven learning approaches.
    • Organize workshops, guest lectures, and faculty development programs to enhance teaching quality.
    • Foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous learning.
  • Research and Development:
    • Promote a research-oriented environment by encouraging faculty and students to undertake research projects.
    • Facilitate collaboration with industry, government agencies, and other institutions for research funding and joint projects.
    • Oversee the establishment of research centers, laboratories, and innovation hubs.
    • Guide faculty and students in publishing research papers, patents, and securing grants.
    • Organize research conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance the institution's research profile.
  • Examination & Evaluation:
    • Contribute to planning, execution, and monitoring of examinations and assessments.
    • Work in close coordination with the Controller of Exam to ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to examination regulations and policies.
    • Implement effective evaluation systems, including internal and external assessments.
    • Oversee question paper setting, moderation, and grading procedures.
    • Address grievances related to examinations and ensure smooth operations.
  • Accreditation & Compliance (NBA/NAAC):
    • Lead the preparation and submission of accreditation applications, rankings, and compliance reports.
    • Ensure adherence to quality assurance parameters as per NBA/NAAC guidelines.
    • Coordinate self-assessment reports, documentation, and institutional audits.
    • Organize training and workshops for faculty and staff on accreditation requirements.
    • Develop action plans for continuous improvement and monitor their implementation.

As a Professor, you will be responsible for:

  • Teaching specialized courses in Banking, Finance, or Management.
  • Delivering engaging and practical lessons, integrating industry insights.
  • Mentoring students on academic and career-related matters.
  • Supervising student projects and dissertations.
