Strategic Engineering Leadership

This role involves overseeing engineering policies and ensuring consistency across all properties. Strategic leadership and oversight are crucial for our organization's success.

  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and standardize engineering policies that align with industry best practices to ensure optimal functioning of MEP systems.
  • Capital Projects: Oversee capital expenditure projects, including renovations and new builds, to enhance the overall guest experience and resort facilities.
  • Benchmarking: Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for property-level engineering teams to measure progress and drive improvement.
Maintenance Management
  • Preventive Maintenance: Ensure optimal functioning of MEP systems through regular preventive maintenance programs.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with resort teams to swiftly resolve issues and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Sustainability Initiatives
  • Energy Conservation: Drive energy conservation initiatives to reduce consumption and lower operating costs.
  • Sustainable Practices: Implement sustainable practices aligned with global hospitality standards to minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
Compliance and Safety
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance across all properties to mitigate risks and avoid penalties.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Conduct regular audits and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure a safe working environment.
Team Development and Management
  • Talent Development: Recruit, train, and mentor engineering teams to develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement among engineering teams.
Financial Management
  • Annual Budgeting: Manage annual engineering budgets to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.
  • Expenditure Approval: Approve expenditures for maintenance and capital projects to ensure timely delivery within budget.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications in facility or energy management preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years in hospitality engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building abilities to motivate and inspire engineering teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in building systems and CMMS tools to drive operational efficiency.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and decision-making skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
