Job Description

We are seeking a skilled consultant to facilitate compliance with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) standards for product certification under the ISI Mark Scheme.

The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on BIS certification requirements, assist clients in identifying applicable standards and categories, and coordinate testing and certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive guidance on BIS certification requirements.
  • Assist clients in identifying applicable BIS standards and categories.
  • Facilitate the preparation and submission of BIS applications and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with BIS-recognized laboratories for product testing and obtain test reports.
  • Ensure products meet technical standards for performance and safety as required by BIS regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and BIS officials to expedite the certification process.
  • Track and monitor application status, ensuring timely follow-up and approval.
  • Advise clients on testing and post-certification compliance.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients in maintaining compliance and managing renewals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 0-2 years of working experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BIS standards under the ISI Mark Scheme.
  • Knowledge of BIS portal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
