Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cognitive search pipelines using Azure Cognitive Search and related AI services.
  • Build robust data ingestion, indexing, and enrichment processes to support diverse data sources.
  • Enable intuitive natural language query capabilities for business users to interact with enterprise data.
  • Integrate advanced semantic search, embeddings, and generative AI techniques to deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams to define use cases in finance, operations, and reporting.
  • Partner with data lake and ADF pipeline teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Adopt agile methodologies to validate and scale solutions rapidly.
  • Ensure compliance, data security, and ethical AI usage in search solutions.
  • Mentor team members on AI search and NLP best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Azure Cognitive Search, Cognitive Services, and AI/ML frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data integration for search indexing.
  • Familiarity with embeddings, NLP, and vector search technologies.
  • Experience connecting search solutions to BI tools, reports, and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and enterprise data management.
