Job Opportunity: Design Engineer for Automotive Closure Systems

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Design Engineer specializing in automotive closure systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for vehicle closure mechanisms.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering;
  • 8+ years of experience in designing automotive closure systems (latches, regulators, handles, etc.);
  • Expertise in CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/SolidWorks) and detailed engineering analysis;
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, validation, and simulation tools;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop vehicle closure mechanisms using CAD software;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, design, quality, and customer experience;
  • Evaluate, test, and validate designs through simulation and physical prototypes;
  • Release components and manage the lifecycle from concept to production;
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations;
  • Participate in design reviews and lead collaborative development efforts;
  • Mentor junior engineers and create best-practices documentation;
