Job Title: Embedded Software Architect

 

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for embedded systems using C/C++ programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and implementation guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on multi-core ARM/CPUs.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills, with experience in firmware, kernel, and user-space components.
  • Experience with low-level programming, including bit manipulation and memory management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with heterogeneous compute platforms, including ARMs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators.
  • Knowledge of J-TAG or ICE debuggers.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
