Job Overview:

As a key member of the project team, your role as an Architectural Designer involves generating innovative ideas and providing expert advice on technical design considerations throughout the entire project lifecycle of complex workplace projects.

With a focus on architectural design, technical data, quality control, and efficient use of time and resources, you will work closely with designers to ensure design integrity is maintained at all stages of the project.

The successful Architectural Designer will be the go-to person for utilizing high-level technical/computer design skills to bring ideas to life. A crucial aspect of your role is ensuring the design meets all building codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Collaborate with senior designers and other design staff to troubleshoot and provide technical solutions for design challenges">
  • Review engineering and MEP consultant's work to ensure compliance with design solution and timely submission of documents">
  • Respond to RFI's and RFQ's">
  • Ensure adherence to established guidelines and immediately inform the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders of any potential variances">
  • Develop drawings for tender, drawing detailing, and construction documentation">
  • Oversee CD production and review for smaller projects">
  • Create a master log of project submittals">
  • Ensure design complies with all applicable building codes and standards, advising other designers on these restrictions during design phases">

Requirements and Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you must be exceptionally skilled at executing highly technical drawings and driven by delivering projects with exceptional detail and accuracy.

You are motivated by exceeding client and team expectations by delivering complex projects with minimal conflict or revisions.

You will be excited to mentor junior staff, sharing expertise on technical coordination aspects of a project.

Apart from robust technical knowledge, you should be confident in communicating effectively with a team of varying creative professionals.
