Job Opportunity: Cybersecurity Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Cybersecurity Consultant. This is a 6-month contract position focused on designing and operationalizing Data Discovery processes.

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

This role involves developing comprehensive Data Discovery processes to identify, classify, and protect sensitive data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Data Discovery Processes: Develop detailed Data Discovery processes to ensure effective risk reduction and compliance.
  2. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Draft SOPs for data analysis, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  3. Automate Processes: Identify opportunities to automate Data Discovery processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Reporting: Provide regular reports to management stakeholders, highlighting addressed risks and process improvements.
  5. Team Training: Conduct training sessions for team members to ensure proper understanding and execution of Data Discovery processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Data Security and Data Discovery.
  • Strong background in designing and operationalizing Data Discovery processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in developing SOPs, analysis templates, and identifying automation requirements.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with management stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience in training and knowledge transfer to team members.
