Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Revenue Assurance professional to lead our revenue operations and accounting team. As Revenue Assurance Lead, you will oversee accurate revenue-related reporting, manage revenue closing activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Accounting: Accurately manage revenue-related reporting, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations in accordance with US-GAAP Stat rules.
  • Financial & Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with regional statutory requirements related to revenue accounting, provide guidance on statutory and tax accounting, reporting, and audits.
  • Customer Billing: Monitor and manage unbilled accounts receivable, collaborate with teams to remove billing obstacles, and review and approve adjustments to credit notes and invoices in accordance with local VAT laws.
  • Contract Processing: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and guide on contract variations.
  • Compliance & Controls: Maintain rigorous controls on revenue processes and balance sheet controls, addressing and rectifying any identified control deficiencies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Client Service to support sales proposals and contract entries, provide training, and collaborate on contract interpretations and revenue-related queries.
  • Inquiry Support: Assist with various audits, ensuring adherence to Global Regional COE standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members, fostering a high-energy, engaging work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance operations, particularly in revenue operations and accounting.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of US-GAAP, statutory regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in team management, with a capability to mentor and motivate.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various departments.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with an ability to manage large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Problem-Solving: Efficient in problem-solving and able to implement process improvements.
