Learning Support Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Teacher to join our team. As a Learning Support Teacher, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, developing personalized learning plans to cater to their unique requirements.
  • To collaborate with teachers to implement differentiated instruction, ensuring that all students have access to challenging and engaging lessons.
  • To assist students with communication, organization, and time management skills, helping them to develop strategies for success.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress, monitoring their achievements and areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing situations and priorities.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in educational software.
